USS Gunston Hall

In his Bravo Zulu* e-mail to Bob May, HEPACO Vice President, Chief Dilson Ramirez, Main Propulsion Assistant, wrote: “I’ve recently had the pleasure of working with your team, led by Kemuel Bishop, onboard USS GUNSTON HALL (LSD 44) during our shipyard availability. Mr. Bishop’s performance and dedication to his craft have been nothing less than amazing. There has not been a day that has gone by that his drive and leadership haven’t been noticed and commented on by my superior officers and junior Sailors alike. He and his team are consummate professionals and make our lives that much easier by providing a seamless integration into any GUNSTON HALL workday. They are continuously on task and set a new standard for any subcontractor to aspire to. Your company’s reputation is in good hands and has our sincerest thanks for the service you provide." We are proud to report that this is not the first Bravo Zulu that our Supervisor, Kemuel Bishop (Norfolk), and his team have received. Thank you, team, for your continuing great work!

*In Naval terms, Bravo Zulu (BZ) means “well done” and is used to congratulate or otherwise compliment contemporaries or juniors, to include their subordinate crews or commands, for outstanding performance.
